They absolutely do not split. They reproduce sexually as others have stated.

I would have loved to get a more colorful one. But this was a cheap method to see how well the species would do in my tank. Overal so far he seems to be doing well. Will probably get some more in a month or so if it’s still doing well then.

was brought to my attention those white spots were possibly dead spots? Sorry to hijack the thread but likely not worth another one

I’m going to just stop using that other forum then. Too much bad advice. I couldn’t find carpet bleaching that looks similar either.
How would I know it’s bleaching? About 12 hours his foot is on the glass and seems to be moving into the sand. I did my reading in this thing but now I’m not so sure lol
