Mini Wavemaker for Pico Nano Tanks. Easy 3d Print

I'm using 2 of these in my 6g Pico and one in my quarantine tank. The mini fountain pumps come in 5v,12v and 120v versions. I use a arduino to control the 2 pumps in my Pico.

That’s smart! What benefit do you think the propellers add over just using the output through a guard like you have to break up the flow?

Just be sure that the fountain pumps you use are saltwater safe and nothing in there can rust or corrode, that would very quickly cause problems in a pico tank

Propellers move water in all directions so there's less water resistance, I'll be playing with different propeller designs in the near future.
