I am also trying to keep my rock work pretty contained. I am trying to keep as much swim space available as I can and following the rule of 3rds. (Still doing some tiding of wires and building out the tank, check out my build thread if you have any interest in it)

Very nice! I really like the rock on the left and how it's angled. Adds a lot of interest to what you've got going on.

Really really really love the scape! But I dont think it's quite minimal. If you left just the two biggest rocks, I think it would definitely look minimalist but then you don't have as much room for coral! lol

That rock in the left is the perfect amount of tilt to be cool but still look natural. I know what I want to do for my next tank haha

Just started up the first of two tanks. This one will be FOWLR (420G) and the second will be a 200G drop off reef tank (mainly coral). Both will use the same Caribsea Life Rock and simplified aquascape. Sorry for poor lighting.

I dig it. I think one of the things that makes a well-done minimalist scape so appealing is all of the clean, uncluttered sand space. I find myself drawn, more and more, to those scapes that have this feature. Nicely done.

I think mine qualifies. Nothing on the sandbed. Will probably do a different powerhead down the road to declutter the back wall as well - maybe either an mp10 or an icecap 1k if I can find one used.

Not much in terms of corals yet - this is a reboot.

Yes mate the shapes. Allowed for much more open rock work. I think there is 60 - 70 pounds of it for those pieces. I am running bio bricks in the sump for extra filtration.
