Missing?

Last night, I was enjoying watching my cleaner shrimp, pepé Le Pew dance around my tank! This morning, he is nowhere to be found and I haven't found him all day! Could somebody have eaten him? I only have two docile fish in there and crabs and snails! What could have happened?
