MIT study on Coral Cilia

Advanced Aquarist has a very interesting article about how corals use their cilia to effect their environment creating vortexes for food/gas exchanges. It's really interesting and a completely new way of understanding how corals interact and interestingly change their environment - they aren't as passive as we thought.
