My LTA walks everywhere. I think it chases the clowns rather than the other way. Silly thing. I made a great place for it and it still moved. He has been in the same place for three whole days. Maybe it is right now. :)

I hope to find a good one too. I will have qt and cipro all ready for it.
Touch all day long no shriveling or deflating or even moving so far yet but the gigs are bleached so they might not be as aggressive yet

It's a bit of a mess right now had to take down 2 tanks and squeeze what I had onto this tank to make room for the 300 gallon I'm going to need some aquascaping of the 300 with these nems I suck at making the rock work look pretty :/

make sure to put eggcrate under the sand! it really helps to support the rock work and keep them in place

Wow that's a good idea I've never herd of that before my concern there is though if a haddons carpet decides to move would he just attach to the eggcrate under the sand

My darn LTA scared me today. I woke up to it missing. Last night it was absolutely gorgeous. Nice brownish blue disc and bright blue tips. Clownfish in it and happy. Then this am nothing?
Well, I found it finally after searching all morning. You can see it from one angle of the tank in a certain corner. It has moved to the back. Darn thing. I was hoping it was happy out front where it stayed for a week.
Love your carpets. That is my next purchase. I want a gig though over haddoni.

I'll try to get you a pic when I get home tomorrow it's hiding and got a bit bleached it's just starting to get color back on its tips and just restoring some purple back in the tentacles. :)

How deep is your sand bed long tents (adults) need at least a 6-7" sand bed otherwise they will just keep moving I keep mine in a spot in the tank where the sand reaches around 7" and it's never moved I have a baby purple that will be moving soon to a deep sand bed tank like my haddoni as for the gigs all my gigs go through 1 week cipro if I feel the need then they get 1 week amoxicillin and then a week of no meds if they don't get amox. Then they get 2 weeks no meds in an isolated tank before they go with any other nems as they are usually always sick and always spread infection to other anemone :(

I set up a nice deep area when I first got it and it moved immediately. I will try again. Thanks. I knew they liked sand, but every time I set up a bed for it, it moved.
I will definitely qt and treat the carpet. I qt most things.
