I have 2 radion xr30 g4 and they have been working really well. I wanted to start getting into the chalice/favia realm on the rock work but on the lower side. I've had a few favia so far that have just straight up bleached. Acan do well on sand bed. Wondering if I could run AI blade or similar supplemental light to pump par up top and lower my radion or is this tank just too short for mixed reef.

its a waterbox 100.3 and is about 24inch high.

par was taken with apogee sq420x

You could still increase intensity and check PAR after that.I don’t think Blade would provide more intense light at the top. You could also build rock upwards

yeah, I dont want to increase the intensity as mention. I'm looking to grow low par stuff at the bottom. The issue is its getting too much par. increasing the rockscape might be my only option like you said though.

I have 4 different types of Favia (or mabye Favites) all in about 110-120 par. Can you build out/modify sections of your auqascape to create ledges so that this is shading below? Then grow the low light corals in those shaded nooks.
