I don't know if it's be done before but u haven't seen anything on this, but I know you can mix different torches and hammers of the same accord but can you mix hammers with frogs or torches? I realize they are "cousins" but will they damage each other.

Sure you can but with any coral give them room to grow. You don't want them too close to each other that might be a issue.

I have two different touches near each other and both are fine, and I have the different hammers I want to combine and have one massive multi color one

I know some scrolling sps you can pit next to each other and they will grow together

I have Frogspawn right next to my Hammers peacefully with no issue, but if I place my Torch next to these two, it will be a war, Torch will always be the winner in this fight (at least in my tank)

I mix all my hammers and frogs together

Most all euphyillias are fine touching one another its just sometimes torches can be picky

Torches are assassins. I only have gold Aussie torches now, as they have short tentacles and are much easier to control.

That's good news, now I will combine my two frogs with my two hammers

With these two frogs would create a masterpiece

What do you guys think?

Do you think the hammers would overtake the frogs seeing as they are slow growing

I have a 50 gallon ( 30" x 20" x 20" ) lps/sps tank and I do see a little aggression from some of the corals.
The worst offenders are my wall hammers and bubble corals.
I had a green bubble that in the course of 2 nights nuked a 2 headed gold torch completely and a single head on another gold torch.
My wall hammers nuked a couple different corals.

I have heard people saying they keep them all in a big happy mass. Mine are pretty much like that except for the torch. I have both wall and branching frogspawn, wall pearl bubble, and wall hammers. They all get along. The torch is the problem child. Likes nothing near it.

So torches may not like to be near my hammer

If you wanted to try it seems like it is a hit of miss. Just not a 50/50. Seems like torched are the children who do not play well, more than others in the family. Trail is how we got our information. My LFS has also said torches are the exception.

My wall hammer killed my gold torch when I accidentally put them too close together.
