I am getting ready to build my saltwater mixing station. I will be using Brute Cans and a Pan World 50PX. My question is about the quality of ball valves. The ones that will be turning on and off the RODI lines, would it be safe to use cheap big box hardware ball valves? I will use the higher grade ones for the saltwater pipes. TIA

I’m using inexpensive valves on my RODI lines as there isn’t a lot of pressure and they are downstream from a much better valve where it taps into the water line. But I also turn off my water supply when I’m not making RODI water.

I just used the big box valves and they have been fine. Save your money for corals...lol.
