Make changes slowly.
Chase numbers over the course of weeks and months.
Try not to change more than one variable at a time. Its tempting to fix everything at once, but too many variables change the equation too much for our “science” project.
The goal is health and stability, then livestock. And always stability! Even if numbers are not what is expected or accepted.
If its out of whack, get it back into whack.... slowly.
Reefing is a beautiful and patient hobby.
Just my 2 cents.
