Molly quarantine protocol

I picked up a black saltwater Molly from my LFS today. I’m hoping it can help me identify if my fallow period was successful. I had velvet, went fallow for 45 days. I put it into my quarantine tank. My LFS had them already acclimated to salt and was tied to the same system as most of their other fish. It’s healthy looking but that’s what I’ve thought before about other fish. Can I use a copper treatment on it? (Copper power) and can I use prazi? I plan to hold him in quarantine for a minimum of 30 days. Any tips? Thanks in advance

If they are in full seawater and if they have been housed with ANY wild caught marine fish, they should be fully quarantined through our regular process. If they were acclimated to seawater and NOT held with other fish, they are safe to just add right to the tank, as any FW parasites they might have had won't transfer to a marine system.

I had a hard time finding a fresh water one that was black. He’s in quarantine for the next month and then I’ll transfer it over. Thanks for the reply!
