Monti eating nudi?

What am I looking at? There is a bit of damage on two monti frags both of with have the white fuzzies.

Yeah looks like a nudi. I'd pull the whole plug and dip it and examine for eggs.

Yes that’s MEN for certain.
Pull the plug/ frag out and in a bowl of tank water use a stiff toothbrush to scrub the entire exposed area of the plug and useing a turkey baster or large peptide blast every bit of the monti off . I’m reading about a lot of people reporting that dips aren’t working anymore. Physical removal is all we got .
It might be a good idea to remove the rocks that plug was touching and aggressively baste them to .

I recommend hiring a wrasse to do a full time security detail. Nudis lay eggs fast and then you have more nudis.

I almost forgot to mention a good weapon against MEN is super glue if there is gaps you can’t get to then fill it with super glue.

Act fast and get this delt with. Remove all montis, dip in Baer, scrub and inspect for eggs. Get a wrasse that is known to eat pests, most common ones due.

I never removed or dipped anything. He came in like a beast and ate them all. Everything healed and is growing well.

This is what I was afraid of. So far it’s just electric grape (pictured) and a rainbow frag affected. I’ve been using coral rx. I will dip again and scrub the plugs. Any other fish recommendations? The tank is a 25 fusion lagoon. It’s housing a pair of shrimp gobies and a fire fish.

Six line wrasse would be good

Yup, I agree. definately a nudi. I've read that Coris/Canary wrasse and Six-Line wrasse are the best for eating MENs, follwed by Lunare/Moon wrasse. But you don't won't to put a Lunare wrasse in your tank if you have inverts. They are carnivores an will eat every invert that you have. So stick with the Six-Line and Coris wrasse, they will do the job for you.
As for dipping your corals, pull all the montipora frags out and remove them from the old plug. Then dip them and glue them onto new plugs. That's my humble opinion.

Thoughts on the four line? I’ve read the six line has a tendency to be aggressive.

Six-Line can be when they get larger, but normally only to fish smaller. They're not big fish. I had a Six-Line for years and never had a problem with him being aggressive toward other fish. However, fish have personalities just like humans do and everyone is different.

I got a 6line and it’s a big bully. He’s a real jack hole , I cut a mirror for a background and he’s shadow boxing 24/7 it’s been a few months and he’s still at it . If we’re me I’d get the yellow wrasse.

Is the yellow coris small enough to be comfortable in a 25 lagoon

They are same size as a 6line I read they will eat worms and hybrids ect read up on them both .
I’m on the fence about loseing my 6line in favor of a yellow wrasse
