About a month ago i realized that i had monti eating nudis. I only had a few small monti frags, so i just pitched them. How long should i run the tank monti-less to be safe in adding montis again?

thanks

Bob

LOL!!!! that's the hardest part is the waiting. This happened to me early in my reefing hobby career (b4 i knew about dipping:tongue:) . i just tossed everything out! BUT recently started collecting monti's and ALWAYS dip them now!

next time don't toss them, just super glue around the base and around any rescission areas, and super glue any area where they can be hiding (holes in the rocks etc). It may take a couple rounds but they don't stray far form the edges of othe corals flesh in my experiences and if you can pick off what you can and super glue anywhere you can't reach I've had good success with getting rid of them.

HOW MUCH DOES A FISH’S FEEDING REQUIREMENTS AFFECT YOUR STOCKING DECISIONS?
