wow.. nice eye candy.. I'm gonna try a sunset and rainbow monti when I get back from vacation.. it's good to have friends that have good stuff.. ;)

Marv thats the first two I got. Now I cant stop myself from buying every monti I see! :naka:

LoLz.. all I have is the Superman monti.. it has done well in my tank so I wanted to try a couple more.. hope they do as well as the Superman....

Jesse, I did see your pics and awesome ones at that... I'm just glad I'm not going to pay any for them, I think.. ;)

I've also got a purple/purple cap, a purple/blue cap, a yellow/purple cap and a leng sy, but I can never get good pics of those.

just a word of advice, qt all new montis, monti eating nudi's are the worst pest i have encountered, and i have seen them all, aefw, zoa eating nudi's, red bugs, planaria...

did you get that from znut also? i know there are two types of blue polyp caps out there. a regular blue polyp cap, and the flower petal monti cap which almost looks exactly alike, but has subtle differences. do you have both? can you tell the difference?

I got that piece from Maximus on Reef Central. Im not sure which it is. I got one of his LE packs if that means anything. It does look exactly like my flower petal monti.

hmmm, sold as montipora, just took her word for it, might have to look into what it really is...it's closed up in the pic though

They can be difficult to tell apart. I was thinking Porites becasue of the coralites, but like I said, they can be difficult to differentiate.
