whats the best placement for a montipora. It's growing good but I would like for it start growing like a vase, or swirl upwards. I have a large purple Monti in a 125 gallon. It's growing good but I'm thinking of breaking it in 3 sections. What's the best placement, gluing to a small rock? Placing it between rocks? Just looking for some suggestions, thanks.

very nice pc. to get what you are looking for I think it should be glued flat not from the end like you have it. if you lay it flat on a rock it will encrust on its own but it might get blown off with flow. I would move it in middle of tank and lower so it gets flow from different direction. Mine are all really low.

I broke a piece off my smaller red monti, and placed it in a rock , I'll see what it does for me, thanks for the advice
