I am in the final stages and am looking for the most cost effective way to heat and cool a 1k gallon mixed reef? Im located in the northeast and only have electric as a utility so no access to gas. Ive been looking at inline electric heaters along with a seperate cooler and i have also looked into single units that do both. Im curious as to what others are using or can recommend.

Heat pumps for both. Cooling (duh)and heating (beats resistive heating big time)

Of course have resistive as a backup but should never be needed.
