How do you attach the x bracket on the noops to the T slot?
I tapped the center of the t slot and attached the angle brackets then bolted to the x bracket. I think it was an m4 bolt but am not positive (poor memory) Pretty sure I tapped the t slot 5/16" x 18

EDIT : Just want to mention I did not design the rack. A member here did all of the design work for me and I just ordered material and assembled. This was the first time I had worked with t slot

That's funny (to me) I woke up at 4 am and read the entire thread on that tank and am considering one as an upgrade to my reefer 170. Are you happy with the build quality so far?
So far I am. I still have a lot to do with it, but the dimensions are ideal (I wanted 18-20" height, not 24"). Some say they prefer two returns or center return, but the side return doesn't bother me. The wood construction and skinning seems really good quality in my unprofessional opinion. I like the ATO. I was trying to thinking how it could fail and couldn't. Overall excited about the new build!

I’m actually going with Radion’s and Kessil’s. I was just offering a mounting option. The monitor arms are very easy to mount, strong and you could get them pretty cheap on Amazon.
Really is a great way to get a rail up. Unfortunately can't drill into the office wall, so looking at mounting to the back of the stand or have it free standing.

Lots of really good suggestions in here. I had this dilemma when my tank was in a temp location between moves, for about 9 months. These Kessil brackets might be an off the shelf solution. Don’t suggest going route I chose (made my own from copper pipe, spray painted black), looked janky.

One thing to keep in mind is it was a huge pain to remove them, recommend using screws that will work with an Allen key so you can get good torque on them with minimal clearance to the wall - I attached them with tank empty and realized when I was trying to take them off that maybe I should not have used Phillips head, no screw drivers fit.

Personally I’ve owned many tanks and stands over 24 years and I am very impressed with the build quality and the overall appearance. Looks aren’t everything but they certainly are appreciated! It is very nice in person and very well made and thought out.

looking for an option to mount 6 noops inside a canopy. I’m wanting to run a single 8020 bar but struggling to figure out a method to attach the x bracket to the 8020. Any ideas?

I used monitor mounting arms and 1010 extrusion. Once i add lights, with the weight i’ll be able to raise and lower the lights and swing them out of the way for maintenance.

could you send me more details on what all you used, like exact mounts/bar if you by chance know?
