Mounting supplemental LED to Kessil AP9X Mount

I need to add some supplemental lighting to my AP9X due to alot of shadowing. I was thinking about 3D printing 2 brackets to hold a 21" Blade to the front of the AP9X using the AP9X specific mount. I printed a piece to test and it felt pretty sturdy. Anyone think its a bad idea?

Are you sure the AP9X mount can support the additional weight?

Did you ever come up with a solution? I was thinking of doing the same with blades as well

I couldn’t come up with a design I felt comfortable with to support the blades. I found someone on instagram (jc reef) with an ap9x and a reefbrite add on for radions. I got some info from him on how to mount and went with that. The reef brites actually did the trick and i’m happy with the setup.

Can you provide a little more detail about how this setup is put together. Are the Reef Brite mounts connected directly to the AP9x fixture, or the mounting arm? Any chance you could post a photo looking down at the top from a higher angle?

I have two Kessil A360x's mounted to the AP9x mounting bracket via full angle adapters and I'm looking for a way to mount supplemental light bars (likely Quanta Helix or Orphek OR4, tbd) and I think I might be able to do something similar.
