Hey guys I’m having a tank built by a local builder and he is nearing the finish line. Euro bracing and the overflow are all that’s left then I will be picking it up and bringing it home after a final cure.

The tank dimensions are 72x36x16. The 36” width is my concern as my doorways are only 30”. Ideally in my mind I would like to lay it on its side and set it on a cart fully supported by wood for the entire length of 72”. Then easily wheel it over to the stand.

I’m open to any and all suggestions on moving this thing to its final location. TIA

I would enlist the help of a friend and use those suction cup movers. Thats how they did it at my LFS that was a CDA dealer. You could turn it on its side no problem with those. Good luck!
