So yes I’m doing the dreaded 400 mile move. I currently have a 150 gallon tank and sump.
The only good thing is that I am able to set up a temporary tank at my new house next weekend.
Which is a 100 gallon cube. The fish and coral will be taking a separate ride here in a few weeks.

I have had rock cycling in a trash can for about 3 months now. My question is that do I need to keep the rock submerged in water or can I just have it in the trash can with a little water in it?
It is quite a bit of rock, definitely to much for the tank. It’s about 3/4 full brute can.

I remember years ago I put all the livestock in a 20 gallon high and drove from Maine to Georgia with the tank under my arm lol
