Just cam in from work and I have a big patch of sand the MP10s have cleared and a few zoas actually in the powerheads, I’m guessing the powerheads for some unknown reason turned the power to 100%, normally they are on 55%, is this a known thing they can do as Ive never noticed it before?

Odd. I've had MP10s and MP40s for years and have never had this happen (I'm not saying that it couldn't happen). Were the powerheads on 100% when you checked on them or are you guessing that is what happened when you weren't there? Is it possible that something got in the powerhead that deflected the flow and then broke loose before you got home?

Just a guess that is what happened, thats the only answer I can come up with why the sand has moved and the zoas being in the mp10s, strange as the rest of the zoas (a big loose ball of zoas ) are still in their normal place.

The deflection suggestion is not likely as where the sand has moved is directly in line with the powerheads normal position, the only thing that could cause that would be the powerheads ramping up I would have thought.

Guess a snail could be into crop circles ;)

The only other thing that’s coming to mind at the moment is if you had a power blip and the powerhead went full on well itcycled. Either way, hopefully it was a one time thing.

Actually that could be it 👍 as I remember now, they are linked and if they are not turned off or on in the correct order the other goes to 100% which is a weird glitch the MPs have.
