MP40 Spacers

Hi I can’t find an exact reason for the spacer. Is it really necessary or what is the purpose of it? When I run the recommended spacer I hear vibrating when it ramps up and when I just use the thin gasket I hear no vibration….

It’s a vibration dampener overall

So if I’m having no vibration with the thin gasket I’m ok then? My glass is about 1/4 inch
