I just purchased a new wetside and the nozzle fits just as snugly as any of my older versions. There should be a red O ring around the wetside frame. Perhaps this is missing? Since the nozzle aligns one end of the spindle, if it vibrates off then I’d Imagine the propeller section would be unstable.

FWIW, taking a brand new dryside apart seems foolish ... that would immediately void the warranty. Just ask ETM for their suggestions.

Just purchased two new o-rings, yes there are o-rings on the wet side, to see if that improves one of the issues.
