So here is a breif livestock check in, I just got a frag of the ora soli as a test piece for the battlecorals order. Its doing great and hopefully it will grow faster than ora says it will.
So I just got my order from battle corals... It is amazing, all of the corals are open and super colorful. Adam was a pleasure to work with and I don't think I will ever go to anyone else for sps ever again. Haha everything from the packing to the quality of the livestock. Not to mention that Adam put in a FREE sniper sps blue lagoon acro. So all I'm all everyone should make an order with him, his stuff is amazing and pretty cheap. Ill post dslr pics 2morow because I have exams in the morning but for now there's always cell pics.
Hey everyone, sorry for the lack of recent updates the end of school and the lacrosse season really have been eating up my time. The tank is doing great, lots of growth lots of new pieces, some new fish, all in all good things. Heres a small update, Ill shoot some pictures next week and do a bigger update then.
Hey, so it's been about a year since the last update. All coral have been doing great, the regal ate a lot of my Acros so it eventually had to be taken out. I just rescaped with tonga branch rock modeled after jackson6745's 115g reef.
I'll attach better quality pictures tomorrow, but you can get the gist from these.
The lack of fish is because of an over aggressive Arch Eye Hawk fish, that ended up killing off or bulling the rest of the fish to death. The only fish that remain are the mysteri wrasse and the mandarin dragonet. I'm expecting a trio of female flame wrasses on Tuesday so that'll be exciting. I'm also waiting for MACNA to stock up on coral that'll fill up the new scape.
So quick update and then on to the DSLR pictures. I ordered a trio of female flame wrasses from picturesque aquatics, I've been informed by Evolved that I will soon have a trio of Male flame wrasses so that'll be fascinating to watch. Hopefully only one makes the switch but we shall see.
In anticipation of the wrasses I constructed a new mesh top for the tank. It cut down light output from my radions by probably like 10% so I lowered the radions an inch, and everything seems to be doing great with that!
In other fish news my Mystery wrasse and Mandrin have been alot more active in this new scape so hopefully thats a sign of what's to come!
