MTRC July Meeting!

Due to scheduling conflict, this months meeting has been moved..

July 29th, 2012 @ 6PM (Sunday)

The July meeting will be held at Emerald Bay in the hermitage area.

If you plan on attending, please post to the POLL at the top of the page.

details on meeting event will be similiar to last months meeting with food! There will also be coral and gift card raffle prizes.​

Just a quick question. I am new to the whole reefing scene and new to the idea of a reef club as well. What exactly do you all do during the monthly meetings? Also, what are the main benefits of joining a reef club? Thanks in advance...sorry if it is a silly questions, but like I said this is all new to me and I am a research guy. I am considering joining the club but I want to make sure it is worth working the monthly trip from Cookeville to the Nashville area into my schedule.

Financially theres probly not a reason to join and come. But its more about getting together and learning and discussing things with fellow hobbyist. But we do have raffle prizes a lot at meetings but its usually stuff like frags.

yes we are getting a discount, might be more, might be lower depending on what is already on sale. but i would say 20% would be average.
