I have a 180 tank with stand but am considering building a new stand. I was thinking incorporating a spot for frag tanks on the stand would be awesome. I was thinking a 55, 20, 5 and maybe a 10. But would this risk the structural integrity too much? Also what material should I use for stand? Below is a pic of the closest thing I could find.

Should be fine......

Basic sturdy construction and weight distribution and you should be fine. If a stand can be built for a 300g, then one can be built for multiple tanks.

2x4's...4x4's..look up opening a LFS on you tube...I think the self made stands are much more sturdy than retail...I have a retail stand, but I have it reinforced in all corners, and the middle front and back with 2x4's

That is nice...I wish would have built a stand starting out..something like looks like it would support anything, and you can do so much customizing for equipment...good craftmanship.
