I was just curious why munnid isopods are not offered for sale like other pods are. I’m not a big fan of amphipods. I guess I could ask Algae Barn why they do not sell them, but maybe someone here knows as well. I noticed that once amphipods are noticeable that pods seem to vanish. I am going to make every effort to keep them out of my new tank, but am curious about the munnid.

It's likely that the copepods don't have enough food sources to sustain their numbers. Amphipods will eat virtually anything and once introduced, they will multiply quickly. Not sure if you could ever keep this from happening.

Isopods, like copepods require food sources such as phytoplankton. Isopod reproduction may be more difficult, thus the reason they aren't offered.
