I have 2 concerns in this thread and with my not so good english i think this might be long but much appreciate if someone read thru all and give me some advice

1. Do kh mg and ca have any effect on soft coral specificly mushroom?

I have few mushroom that I moved from old frag tank into a bigger lps and softies tank (hammer and mushroom dominant). Because this tank have lps so I ordered some liquid ca mg kh to dose. The parameter at the first day when i started dosing are

Salinity 1024

Kh 7

Ca 400

Mg 1350

No3 10

Po4 0.1

All salifert kit

From the day i start till now are 6 days

Day 1&2: I dose follow the instruction on the bottle 3ml kh (0.3dkh) 5ml mg (10ppm) and 7ml ca (10.5ppm)

Day 3: i tested and the kh at 7.1-7.2, mg droped to 1260 and ca slightly increased to 410. My goal is to push kh to 8.-8.2, mg to 1400 and ca to 450 so i raised the dose to 4ml of kh (4dkh) and 10ml of mg (20ppm), ca dosage remain the same.

Day 4: Still follow the dosage of day 3. All the corals were happy

Day 5: This is when i test the water and got kh at 7.3-7.4 and my bounce shroom were shrinken, mouth wide open and expell zooxanthelae. I did not change any light setting or flow. On this day i also dose AFR and stop dosing the kh mg ca dependently cause AFR already have those. The shroom showed problems before i dose AFR.

Day 6 (today): few hours ago the shroom still ticked and expell zooxanthelae till now (it closed its mouth about 1hour but open it again). I moved it to a more shaded area now. I dosd both AFR and the ca mg kh today. The water parameter tested today are:

Salinity 1023

Kh 7.3-7.4

Ca 415

Mg 1305

No3 10

Po4 0.1

What should i do if it not going to get better next few days? Should i take the bounce shroom out and dip it? Should i stop dosing or just continue doing it? Its one of my favourite shroom in the tank and i dont want to lose it at all. Just cant understand why its the only shroom that got sick when the kh rise, all other corals are fine

2. All my corals will have their mouth open in the morning when lights not on and about an hour after lights on and they will close their mouth. Is this an issue cause beside from early morning they seem all happy and puff up?

I notice cyano in the sand around him. That's probably a byproduct of this coral (breakdown of excess mucus is my guess), but also an indication that flow might be an issue (changed or not). How old is this tank?

Tank is 3 months old cause i set this up in a rush to move shroom from my old frag tank into it, the frag tank got some problem back then. This area is clearly lack of flow but its the only place that i can put the shroom without having the flow blow off their skirt so there might be some cyano or diatom
