Question on the lights @Chriscrna. How are they working for you? Any regrets? I need to upgrade my lights and was thinking about getting 2 of the 247s for my 72GBF, what do you think? And what are you controlling them with?

I like them a lot. Things are coloring up nicely. No regrets so far. However, only time will tell.

I know several people with these lights and I've not heard much (if any) negative comments about them. I say go for it.

Using their own controller.

If you want to see just what these lights can do, check out @sawdonkey. He uses 4 of these lights set up similar to mine. His tank is stellar!

They are coming. Just growing things out now. I never buy colonies, always frags. As you know, growing frags into colonies is not a quick process.

Thanks @Chriscrna , @sawdonkey 's tank is beautiful. Guess I found my lights.

Do you think 2 units will be enough for my tank? I think it should be but will defer to other's thoughts.

It's a 72G BF, 4 ft long, (12" at edge 18"middle) width and 23" deep

I scratched my glass using a magnetic frag rack to acclimate coral [emoji35]

So I made an acclimation rack today for some stuff I got from Adam.

The rack can be raised in 3 inch increments.

Looks ugly in the tank, but it's only temporary.

With two, you'd be covering 48 inches with 32 inches of light fixture. Your probably have a 4 inch gap in the middle around your cross brace. Then you'd have 6 inches on the ends that aren't covered. Probably be fine.

Alternatively, you could run a third fixture in the center going perpendicular to your tank. This would give you great front/back coverage, but might be overkill.
