Wow. I just built a tiny algae reactor with chaeto and 5000 lumens of 6000k led lighting. Growing pretty quickly but limited room in the reactor.

Rearranged some things. Moved and rotated nem island the other day.....they still seem happy, no one has wandered.

Got this custom piece made from AquaRocks to fill in the gap. Not quite sure what I’m going to put on it yet. I’m thinking about making a euphyllia tree. Just threw some junk on there for the time being. We’ll see.

Added several more acros and a juvenile Achilles tang over the past few weeks.

Among the sticks are PC rainbow, Vivid rainbow, Twilight dragon, Pink lemonade, Red planet, and Pinky the bear.

I’ve been feeding the Achilles red gracilaria while he acclimates to the tank. He tears it up and seems to be doing just fine.

Also growing red gracilaria in the sump with the chaeto.

Just spent two hours reading through your whole thread. WOW what a journey. I absolutely love the stand, best and coolest stand I've ever seen. Great growth and corals are looking great. I love your sump too, its massive! I would love to come by and see it some day.

You should come to an ETRC meeting. I will be hosting in July. You’re welcome to come and meet everyone.

I'm going a similar route with my sump but with a remote refugium. Any issues with the gravity ATO? Do you have just one of the push connect bulkheads on the freshwater reservoir and a float valve on the Rubbermaid? This would be cheaper and simpler than an ATK I was planning on using. Thanks!

Sorry for the delayed response.

I have had a gravity fed ATO with my last 2 tanks and have had ZERO issues.

Yes, it’s a push connect on the reservoir and float valve into the sump.

Not only is it cheaper, but it’s more reliable.

Good luck with your setup.
