Day 15 no pic as there has been no real change a tiny bit of cyno and a tiny bit of diatoms but nothing trublesum mainly to the tank being to clean for a week and rebalacing itself since the bryopisis is no longer using up anything the trouble spots are still there but not growing so I can say with 100 percent certainty that this stuff only works with light and the higher intensity it is the faster it works only other this is noticed is overall coral health has improved (they are getting more food since the bropsis is gone) and the coraline has really taken off as in in the last week its went from about 30 percent coverage to 90 percent coverage every rock in the last week that was white or green has now turned purple not bright yet but a light hue with dark spots everywhere

Also the problem spots I highlighted in an earlier post are still there and am now thinking they are not bryopisis matey some type of hair but looks calcified is only in the dark areas like it hates light and does not grow so not sure what it is yet med still in tank will give 21 days then remove

So been a minute but the bryopisis cleared for awhile but is now starting to come back so this stuff does not work in any area without light as it is coming back in those areas so light is 100 percent the reason it works or does not the second treatment has not done anything at all except bleach one of the montiporas of the 4 I have they were all growing fast until I treated again and I am now bleaching a Monti and a candy and so this stuff also 100 percent can and will kill coral and is not 100 percent reef safe as others have claimed other then that everything is doing fine I removed the sand as it was holding nutrients and this stuff also cause a massive bacteria dye off resulting in a huge cyno bloom not water quality related but an imbalance so while it kinda worked I'm am very disappointed that it only works in high lit areas and no where does it say that in the instructions

So today I'm going to try and scrape off the small amount of bryopisis I see and dig into the rock with a knife and see if I can kill it this way gonna turn off all pumps let tank stop circulating then scrape and suck so spores aren't thrown all over the tank let's hope this will kill it iv had this tank now for almost 2 years now been threw alot but so far this is still the prettyest tank iv ever had (minus the ex large system but that's for a difrent reason) and probky my favorite out of the 100s iv had and I do mean 100s at one time I had 30 repile tanks and 20 reef tanks and 10 fresh tanks at the same time I bought a pet store going out of business (don't do this spent 1000s of dollars trying to save the critters all the reptiles except 2 snakes eventually died from a parasite that came from the food the pet store was feeding them very sad)

And I know the Algies I have is not water quality related well technically it is as it's a little to clean giving the algies that can break down food and use it a chance to thrive I'm so sick and tired of read have cyno it water quality problem have algie bla bla bla same better stick over and over when sometimes it's not a water quality issue as in there is no excess nutrients in the water colom to be removed

And to the bleaching coral I'm going to be spot feeding it more then regular to try and save it but one thing I did notice about it is while it's bleaching in a few small places it has taken on the neon green color from the forest fire montie next to it so that give me hope that it's going to recover but it'll be an entirely new color

Which is my understanding of how true morphs happen they drop the Algie that is not doing well and try and collect Algie better suited to its environment form another similar coral that's shedding it nearby

Also to the candy cane that's bleaching it's not morphing but for the first time ever last night it had feeders out so I feed it and will when I see them had this coral for a few months and it's never taken food until now so hopefully it'll survive using food

Which I find odd cuz the other candy cane teal one has wanted feed at least once a week vs the pink that has not so my guess is one was getting more nutrients then the other threw photosynthesis cuz of the color and my lighting
