SO I decided that I was outgrowing my 28 gallon Nanocube HQI. The Nanocube has been set for a little over a year and has grown very well for me but Is now overfilled with frags. I have an anemone that has finally found a spot instead of roaming around but with its size in my 28 I dont have as much room as I would like to grow and propagate corals, the next step..... Larger and longer. This is my first system build and would like to incorporate a sump or refugium under the stand. I am letting it cycle now, only 15 lb of live rock. I will be getting more today. I am wanting to use the live rock in the sump as filtration and keep it a bare bottom tank.
