Check Dr. Fosters & Smith....I have bought bulbs from then for my VHO and had had real good luck, plus I think they carry a full line of bulbs for T-5.

Funny thing is that is where i bought the fixture. I saw that they had some tubes but, they dont have the one i am looking for. I saw on reekgeeks and soem other site that there are 12k tubes. So mabey the combination of 2 actinc 460nm, 1 10k daylight and , 1 12k tube it will make the color just right in my tank. I think i will resaerch a little more seeing as i dont have to have a tube right at the moment.

Ok need advice. I just spray painted the back of the 33 and its been an hour and is fully dry. Ok to add everything over from the 10g?? or no.....

I have never had any of the spray paints i used chip, crack or peel. Is it safe to switch over or do i have to wait??

No i cant smell it at all. I mean i spraypainted my 10g and waited an hour and everything was ok when i put all the rock and fish in etc....But im still paranoid about it. But i guess since it was ok then .....

Ok so i put all the sand, water, filter, skimmer, PH's and the all important fish and coral in the new 33g. I started at 8 pm and i finished at about 10:30 pm. I really like the dimensions of this tank. It gives me alot of space now! The corals are open, but its a sand storm in there. I havent aquascaped at all due to i cant see a thing and plus i need to get more rock next week. I will post pics tonight after work.

All in all the switch has been painless but, i will see if i get any spike ........

Hey guys and gals,
Just got back from my wholesaler. I picked out a couple fish that i might like and helped my boss along the way. I picked up a velvet wrasse and possibly some flashers to go into the tank. I didnt see any jawfish so i will get one mabey next week. The velvet and the flashers are at the store being medicated, so i will see how they do during the week and decide. I picked up some frags this past week to some rpe's and some unknowns.

As for the tank it is doing great with no spike insuing the move. Everything is at 0, as for nitrate, nitrite, and ammonia are concerned. The wacthman is making his new burrow and keeps pulling hermits back as if they were rocks.

This next week i need to get more rock and pick up some fish.

I plan to place rock right around the out-take from the skimmer also. Putting rock on top it and underneath to take the focus away. Here some frags i got.

Sorry about the blue, still need to get a 12k or 15k bulb.

Thanks Chris! I am not nearly done with adding rocks. I was just working with my rubble a couple of nights ago to make some ledges on the upper right. It worked out pretty well.

I need about 25 to 30 more #'s.......

I finally added some fish!
I picked up my Purple Velvet Fairy Wrasse and i also picked up a Filamented Flasher Wrasse. They are soooo beautiful. When i first added the flasher he just decided to lay down next to a rock and make his little cocoon of slim. I'm assuming he was just a little stressed. And the velvet was up by the ph for a while but then found a nice cave to peek his head out of.

I will get pics up tonight.

Heres the filamented flasher:

I just picked this guy up today. He is a Purple Flasher Wrasse. I think the name is wrong, just because he is practically a rainbow. He is hiding in this rock for now...

Thats all for now. I now have to wait for some coraline to set in on the rocks.
I do have a velvet wrasse in here but he hides throughout the day just because he doesnt like the high light i'm assumming.
