Some of my favorite corals are my "meat" corals, the aliens. They are a Warpaint scoly, 2 Cynarina, a large wellsophyllia and two fat plates that think they're pillows.
I will feature these as "easy" corals. There's nothing easy about this hobby, but if you can keep any LPS, you can keep these.
This is an easy one, because you can almost put it in the dark, and as long as you feed it, the coral will survive and possibly thrive.
My approach is a mixed bag. I believe that a decent par of around 80-100 is perfect for these. It seems that they benefit from what some would consider a higher P04.
My phosphates run .1-.2 like a clock. It helps that I dont keep high end acros, or have an algae issue, so it's ok if my tank lives here. These corals get spot feed 3 or 4 times a month, but benefit from any frozen food or pellets that I add to the tank because I have a mid intensity cross flow down on the sandbed to carry food across the corals.
I just wanted to showcase the aliens because they are an easily kept coral that adds a big splash to the tank.
