have you done the test to determine cyano for sure? I can't remember if you have h2o2 dosed or not?

with no doubt, it red slim/cyano. It been a heck of a fight:rolleyes: doing a water change today and possible nuke Wednesday. I am going to up the does of vibrant just to see, before I push the button;)

Tank up date, purchase some UltraLife red slime stain remover and after two hours the slime is coming off in chunks. In 48 hours I am hoping to have a good handle on the red cyano, the I can get a true reading on my nutrients;)
I have the top of the skimmer and I have airstone in the DT. Running my filter socks

Well its Friday after I pulled the trigger and nuked the tank. Wow what a difference. I waited over 40 days for results with Vibrant and as one can read my earlier posts I really want vibrant to work on my system. I will now try using the vibrant for maintenance.

Very good actually! On holidays with my wife and son, got some goodies for my tank from a lfs here and had fresh seafood for dinner.

I still have 5.5 hours till the new year. doing fondue for dinner. finally got the cyano out of the tank and took the parameter and everything is in line:) Have a good day

Raised the skimmer, manufacture recommends between 5 to 7 and I had it at 7.5. Now sitting a 6. The system looks the best it has look in 6 months with crystal clear water and corals and coming back. I did lose a goni but it was weak all read, just have to replace it;)
