Also stared running 670 grams of life bio fil in the sump tray, and cleaned the sump today.

Yesterdays magic numbers
Ca 435
Alk 7.7 i bumped up the 2+ 1 ml
Mg 1300, drop in a bit of mg to bring up the magnesium a bit
PO4 trace to .02 ppm
NO3 8 ppm
Not going to do a water change this week, need to get the nutrients up a bit;)

Today's winning numbers are
Ca 450
Mg 1400 dosed last week extra Mg
Alk 7.56 bumped up the alk dose. I came to the conclusion that my reagent was not giving me the right numbers. I discovered this when I change over to a new bottle of reagent and also tested with another reagent. Clue some times it best to double check the checker:eek::D
No3 8 ppm
PO4 a trace to .02 ppm

3 weeks running Life bio fil and my nutrient number have been steady without having to do any thing. I am back to changing water every two weeks again and might even skip this week.

My next experiment is auto water changes. Looking to go online with auto water changes of 1.25 gallons a day by the end of March. Need to save to make this happen, I really like the pacific sun kore 5th for the total package of doing my small dosed products and the AWC feature;)
