The simple answer is yes. I am a simple person

What I have learned in the past two months. Balancing the nutrients, balance the parameters. My system has always grown the best with running my water a little on the dirty side. Nitrates 5-8 ppm and phosphate .03 to .04. When my Phosphates run on the high side or above .04 is when I notice my corals are not growing and look unhealthy.

Phosphates have be my nemesis.

Made new dosing container shelf for my 2 liter micro elements dosing containers out of some scrap iron wood

I also made three more containers for Components A,B,C on the end.

The story behind the A,B,C was I was doing them before I started 1+2+3+. When I stopped dosing the A,B,C this is when my system started going down hill. I will be dosing 1 ml every other day to supplement the 1+2+3+.

I mixed up a new batch of MG plus to keep my Mg steady.

I also started dosing NitraPhos Minus today and if it does what is says, this should help with my phosphates and nitrates to balance them. I am doing a low dose to start of 2 ml once a day. I might break it up to two 1 ml dose a day.

I bust out the old Jaboa doser and it works like a champ. I still like the GHL better with adjusting and the GHL is silent.

I am doing Mg right now with the water change. This will help with the GHA jungle I have growing in the tank now. I also am wait on some replenishment cleanup crew, Sand shifter, and a replacement niger trigger to be delivered today.

Wow it has been awhile

I have been super busy for the past few months, but I have note this.

I have been looking for Burta (niger trigger fish) for about a week. I notice her missing Tuesday or Wednesday after clean my gyres 11/29. I check everywhere I could think, I even started to think that she went carpet surfing and one of the cats had fresh sushi/sashimi ;Hilarious The big boy(cat/Tux) was most suspect He is the quiet type and eats for two.

Anyway the overflow is making all kinds of gurgling noise for the past couple of days, and I have barley been home. So today to my surprise after investigating what is causing the excess noise and looking at adjusting the stand pipe is see Burta. Turned off the flow and I carefully remove the stand pipe and she is still alive to my disbelief. Grabbed her and tossed her back in the tank, and off she went. I bet you she I real hungry and I will enjoy seeing her at about 8 pm for feeding time. Updater before posting, Burta was by the glass want to eat.;Joyful;Jawdrop I just fed the kids.

I am replacing my maxpect fx 130 with maxpect fx 330 that I purchase on black Friday. Got a good deal from Saltwater Aquarium. BRS had the same price for a door buster and I missed it. I purchased two again with the Wifi controller.

I noticed after cleaning my gyre 130's and repositioning one, I only have cayno on one side of the tank. Light bulb goes on.One the pumps are old and two I need to change my flow pattern

What do you guys think?
