My Tank Thread
This week and numbers
my number are not bad. Phosphate need to come down a bit more. I am thinking of a lanthanum dose and that should do the trick. I had a long discussion about nutrients with Daniel @TopShelfAquatics Friday. Very interesting. My imbalance of nutrient could and should like my cyano issues and tank die off all along. I am sure there might be something else but I was agree this has been my issue all along. We did not touch on the red field ratio but is was suggested to have a ratio of 10 nitrates to 1 phosphate. with today numbers 10 x .05=.5 or my nitrates should be running around a 5. I might start dosing urea for the nitrates to bring up the nitrates.
Once I get my nutrient evened out I will start dosing the nitrphos minus to keep thing in check and lower the amount of GFO.
That is it for now, I am thinking video tomorrow.
