Very cool.

Image #27, the image right after the trigger, what is the star shaped growth, coral or algae?

Is that a wild blue Squamosa?

The schooling Cardinals are awesome.

Awesome pics!

At first I was thinking "Why have a reef tank if I lived near a real ocean reef?" But then I thought, I would want a reef tank to show other people what is out there.

I never catch these awesome trips before hand. if so, id plead to the traveler to take nitrate and po4 readings from a place like this so that we could then discuss after the readings how any algae is able to grow at all there, and then link that back to why people should be directly killing algae in their tanks, not just trying to starve it all the time.

Interesting point. I'd like to hear more.
