My Blenny is a moron! Anybody make a cover for the front of powerhead?

Jaebo PP4 set to 10 minute pause for feeding. He decides that this is a good place to setup shop. Two worries: 1) It hurts or kills it. 2) It damages the powerhead. Any ideas welcome...

You could use some black plastic netting around the nose of the powerhead. Attaching it with a black zip tie around the diameter of the nose.

Something like this may work good... or something with even a thinner gauge netting to it.

Buy a tunze, some of them auto rotate to keep fish out.

I think you should study the habits of the fish before you put them in the environment you prepared for them. Unless you want to kill them. The mesh will be a good idea or a cover for the pump. Get it done ASAP before the fish gets killed.

I cut apart an old net as a temporary fix for mine and secured it with a rubber band. We also have a blenny.​

I did, it has many hiding locations and cave areas. This was an unforseen hiding location.

Oh ok. Well now you have several options to keep em safe. Good luck. Make sure there what ever option you choose the fish cant get inside the whole size.

I've lost a few fish this way..i had to reprogram everything so that nothing comes on automatically. I only turn pumps on if I'm standing there watching now days.
