I just got 2 juvenile clownfish yesterday and one is doing great the bigger one isn’t eating much if at all and has white stringy poop. He/she also spazzes occasionally. He seems interested in food but just picks at it and spits it out. He has a ripped tail but seems to be doing alright other than that. Is this normal?

Occasional fin damage (usually from nipping) is fairly normal. You can always try offering some different types of food - what all have you tried so far?
I’ve tried frozen mysis shrimp and tdo pellets. The other clownfish eats both of these. Could it just be getting used to the tank? Also is the spazzing normal

Do you thaw the frozen first? You can also try adding some garlic (Brightwell, etc.) as well as try Hikari brine shrimp.

Yeah I let it thaw first. Yeah I’ll try that! Is the spazzing normal clownfish behavior it looks like it’s having a seizure!

If available the Rods brand tentacle teaser (fish eggs) is always my fish's favorite.
