my custom 2,5 gallon pico setup

bieng on a budget getting a full reef tank filled with corals i thought why not go smaller. i love the maintaining part of it. i know smaller is harder but i love that challange.

i got this little Dennerle tank and made a internal sump with black acrylic with the help of my handy grandpa. got some aquarium kit and let it run with some sand from my existing tank.

for filtration im using 2 sponges that have the perfect size from Juwel. a little superfish filterpump and heater.

its been 2 weeks of phantom feeding and with the live sand now it already seems cycled afther testing amonia0 nitrite0 and nitrate3

its my birthday in 2 weeks so then ill get a proper light and i can start with some corals and maybe even the first fish.
