My wife and boys love him. With me it's a love/hate relationship. Somehow he was able to bite me on the flat of my hand when I caught him. Not bad and I didn't drop him this time.

I had to move him because he was being too protective of "his" zoos.

He should love me because I've resuscitated him twice over the past few years. Don't laugh, it's true.

Dare I ask how you performed the CPR?

I had/have some sort of predator in that tank that stings with a neurotoxin strong enough to kill fish. This happens only during evening feeding. The fish will swim around the Live rock and all of a sudden will spaz out. Swim around frantically and then go stiff and drift to the bottom of the tank. If I can't get to the fish or don't see this happen the fish will die. So, all you need to do is scoop up the fish and hold mouth up to the MJ600 for the next 30-40 mins blowing h20 across its gills.

This hasn't happened again in probably more than a year and a half.

Fish saved this way.
Juvenile maroon clown
eel (twice)
Adult maroon clown (twice)

fish killed "witnessed deaths" from mystery creature
1 diamond goby
3 cardinals (these are not smart fish)
1 juv maroon clown (didn't learn the 1 time)
3 fire fish

Wow.... No joke. Do you know what it eats/can you trap it? Like a soda pop bottle trap?

I don't even know what it is let alone what it looks like. I think it's a worm in the rock somewhere.

Thats crazy, and you stick your hand in there?
I would rip it apart dip everything, and re start knowing something could sting me pretty good.

Has last tankmates have been 2 coris whasses. Plenty small enough to eat but hasn't. He's now in a tank with 2 rabbitfish, 2 maroon clowns, 1 flame angel, 1 blue tang, 1 giant watchman of some sort and various shrimp. He's blind as a bat and was raised with a rabbitfish. He's never bitten anything but me.

So far. I hate to say it but I kinda hope he takes a liking to my 2 pistol shrimp in that tank.

Thats cool. I hear ya about the pistol shrimp. Im getting very tired of coming home and seeing the tank clouded with sand dust.

Ive really wanted to get an eel but Iam afraid of him eating all my fish.
