hi guys. just wanted to post a pic of my favorite fish. he is nicknamed "INSPECTOR" since he inspects every piece of coral that comes in. lol..

Never mind. It's amazing what you can find with a simple google search. haha. Who would have though it would be called a yellow wrasse?

yep, my leopard wrasse does the same thing. Best way to treat for pest. AEFW stand no chance with one of these guys in the same tank.

will it mess with a cleaner shrimp?

Yea great lookin wrasse a friend has 1 around 5in I would say nice pic

Agreed, awesome fish! I have a Yellow & Purple Wrasse and it does the same thing. It's crazy how their eyes move all around to catch anything moving that they may be able to eat.

thanks guys! post some pics of your "inspectors" ! lol!

I have one in my frag tank. They are a nice fish too. My Melanarus does the same thing in my regular tank. Every frag I put in there he inspects it.

It is a cool looking fish, but it's hard to get a still pic of it. It's always cruising around the tank hunting. It's got the same coloration on the face as yours does.

is the bottom half silver tho? (im just looking at your pic)

Nice pic and tank! don't you just love that neon yellow streak swimming all over the tank? :)
