So i finally got a 120 off a buddy of mine that came with a HOB overflow, ( i hate them ) But i finally got my marine depot elite large overflow kit and i was wondering exactly the location where to mount the overflow,
My tank size is
48''Long,
21''Tall with trims,
18''Wide,

My stand size is
25'' Wide
51" Long
52'' Long touching the wall,

The marine depot elite overflow kit is
12'' Long
3'' Wide
6 1/4'' Tall with lid,

I was thinking of putting the overflow box on the side of the tank closest to the wall in the center and running 2 return lights from the pump one on each side of the overflow box, What are the pros and cons of running it like this?

My idea is something like this.

HOW MUCH DOES A FISH’S FEEDING REQUIREMENTS AFFECT YOUR STOCKING DECISIONS?

  • A lot! - I avoid fish that require frequent or specialized feeding

  • Quite a bit, but an automatic feeder can change my answer

  • It depends on whether my nutrient export can handle it

  • It depends on how badly I want the fish

  • Not much. I’m willing to adjust my routine

  • Not at all. Feeding demands don’t limit my stocking choices

  • I usually learn about the demanding feeding schedule after buying the fish!
