Just purchased this Bali Green Slimer online from my LFS Aqua SD and I’ll be picking it up tomorrow. This will be my first experience with this coral and I was wondering what type of growth can I expect from it? Is it really fast growing like most people say and can I expect growth from it like my Stylo, Birdsnest and Monti Caps, all of which are growing like weeds.
Or is it like most other slow growing Acros? TIA

Yours will probably take some time to base out. Here are two comparisons of mine. It's doing very well I think but I'm new to SPS so not sure if it decent growth or slow. The shots are not great, just crops from pics I found.

Got my 1st one 3 weeks ago, so far so good, do understand that it won't take off right away, but once it encrusts it will start growing more....great frag with awesome glow in the dark colors...

That's what I thought this was. Can you confirm? It grows really quickly. You will see there are 2-3 pieces that I put in other parts of my tank. My cleanup crew broke those off but you can't even tell by looking at it, and that was less than 2 months ago.

seems like a green montipora digitata, not too confident in my guess

edit: i’m going to go with a psammy(psammacora)

I think yours may be a psammacora, but not a slimer.
