Hello! I'm new to R2R and thought I would share my first adventure in saltwater. Started the build right before Xmas last year. The tank was donated by a friend and the rest of the equipment I accumulated over a few months before I set everything up. Apologies in advance, I'm a horrible photographer!
Equipment:
75 gallon glass tank + stand
Eshopps PF-300 overflow box
Coralife Super Skimmer 125g
Aqua-Mag 7 return pump
2x wavemakers 1300 GPH (forget the brand)
Eshopps RS300 2nd gen Sump/Refugium
Livestock:
2 snowflake clownfish
1 yellow tang
1 cherub pygmy angelfish
1 diamond goby
1 peppermint shrimp
1 frogspawn
1 bubble coral
1 trachy
1 purple long tentacle
60 lbs LR
80 lbs LS
First pic of the tank, the sump below is the original one I built myself and quickly realized an adequate protein skimmer for a 75g tank would not fit.
One of my wavemakers that puts out 1300 GPH.
Fully plumbed and ready to go.
Sand added and new lids in place.
Refugium up and going...
This is picture is from about 3 weeks ago, I've added some LR and LS as of late. Also added a pulsing xenia, metallic blue mushroom colony, trumpet coral (about 6 heads) and 1 rhodactis frag.
