My first ever Neptune product. Notice anything wrong with the contents?

Brand new Apex Pro from @Bulk Reef Supply. I’m stoked except for one thing.

Isn’t this supposed to have the updated Temp probe or am I mistaken? Will it fit in the Neptune probe holder (that I also just received)?

Yeah that looks like one they were using on the previous models, my pro came with the one advertised with the dark acrylic body. Maybe they changed them, good question to ask as somebody else had just asked about this.

Just a hunch but I’m betting they ran out of the new probe and instead of delay everything for months, they put the old probe back in. The Neptune probe holder has a larger hole for the old probe to fit in nicely

I use the Neptune probe holder with the “older” temp probe. It fits.

I do have a brand new Apex A3 with the updated probe in the box (which I am returning).

I ordered this first, then ordered the pro/dos bundle as it was a better option cost wise for me.

Shall I swap them out fellow Reefers and @Bulk Reef Supply ?

What would Ryan Batcheller do (WWRBD)?

Can't say I'm having a great time...FRIED

Was set up and complete. In process of cable management, then suddenly no power and burning smell!

Moved plugs back into the Amazon surge protector.

All power was supplied by a 1 year old GFCI. Controller was installed yesterday…
