Hi Guys. Received my first Trachy in the post today.
Just wondering is this normal for the mouth? Looks like 2 straws.

Urgh. Any tips? If I take him out of the water he closes up over them.

Try taking a pair of players or metal tongs into the tank and crushing them? The only method that works for me is to completely destroy them.

although I just got home and they seem to have vanished! I’m relieved but now wondering what happened to it.
