my GHA is disappearing but i don't know how

If I cycle with dry rock, I sometimes get GHA after a bit that blooms then dies off. I assume it likes ammonia which other things end up uptaking/converting too and it gets outcompeted.

Anywho, same deal really. Some sort of cycle or mini cycle > algae bloom > pod bloom > and so on then everything clears up at some point.

nah it pretty much dried up when it arrived it was crap rock left a bad review but it was on there website so they just deleted it

im annoyed that brexit happened cause masterfisch use to sell the best live rock covered in coraline algae but they can't deliver too me now it didn't come shipped in water but it was soaking wet still when i received it

Have you thought of adding a bioball reactor that may help till whatever died in there is all gone

I was thinking perhaps there was die off in the rocks. The only problem with that is that there should be a lot more phosphate too.
